Ghayda is one of the most remarkable people you could ever have the privilege of knowing. She is warm, kind, funny, and full of a light that draws everyone around her in. She is a beloved friend, sister, and daughter — and she is one of the strongest, most courageous people we have ever met.

Right now, Ghayda is on one of the hardest journeys of her life, bravely fighting stage 4 cancer. But if anyone can face this with grace and resilience, it is her. She is not facing this alone — she has an entire community standing behind her, cheering her on every single step of the way. She is going to get through this. We are absolutely certain of that.

My name is Hassan, I'm a friend of Ghayda's. Ghayda's been battling this horrible disease for the past couple of years. When I heard she needed these funds, I wanted to help in any way I could — but with time being limited I wanted to use my skills as a Software Engineer to build something meaningful yet impactful that would draw attention to her fund, and also have it be a keepsake and a motivator for her on her journey. So this website exists to remind Ghayda that she is loved, she is supported, she is an amazing human being, and that she can turn to any one of the people that donated to her fund or planted a flower if she ever needs anything.

Billa is Ghayda's cat. She loves him a lot, so he wanders around her garden and looks after everyone's flowers. Kiki is her niece's kitten, keeping Billa company in the garden.
